Ministry History

1986-89: Tom – Language School Instructor.   Becky- Housewife, mother and librarian.

1989-1990: Tom & Becky – French Study, Senegal.  Set up French program, Guinea

October 1990: Medical evacuation to USA – Tom diagnosed with Crohn’s disease and has surgery.  We can not return overseas

January 1991: Reinstated to Language School.  Tom-various ministries.  Becky- head of student prayer program.

1996-present:  Tom- Language School, Director of MIS (Managed Information Systems) department.

Present Ministry:

Many of the training sites around the US were integrated with the Lang School to form the Missionary Training Center (MTC) at the Lake of the Ozarks in mid-Missouri.  This integration brought with it much expansion and growth. 

 Becky became the Administrative Assistant for the Student Life Department. Her responsibilities are to assist in the oversight of  Student Chapels, as well as various operations dealing with the well-being of the students. 

One event coming up in August is our MTC Field Fair for our candidates to the mission fields.  Becky coordinates this event so that the students can see the various needs around the world and determine where God might have them serve. 

While Tom still retains the title of Director of Information Technology (IT) for the MTC, I also will be involved in the nation-wide operations as the IT Director for New Tribes Mission  USA.  Travelling to the various centers and working with a great team of computer tech’s is a large part  of my current ministry. 

I also have a passion to build a strong team of quality, capable men and women who want to see their skills in network engineering and programming count  in reaching the unreached for Christ.
