Thomas and Laura Scherer En Route to Indonesia I don’t know if you guys have been following the new but there was a huge earthquake in Indonesia off the island of Sumatra. The 7.6 quake struck on Sept. 30th about 30 miles from Padang, which is the capital of West Sumatra, Indonesia. It is estimated that close to 1,100 are dead and over 2,000 were injured. Thousand are now homeless. Some of those that are now dead or injured or now find themselves homeless were our bothers and sisters in Christ, but with the population of Indonesia being about 2.4 million and only about 6% of them believers, we know that many more were not. Please join us in praying that God would use this tragedy to glorify His Name and bring those who do not yet knew Him to Himself. Prayespecially for our brethren.
