NTM

This photo includes most of the folks who live in our neighborhood. Of course the light skinned fella in the front is not one of the locals. He is our coworkers son. The Elseng tribe is not composed of a large group of people. These folks live in small villages scattered over a large mass of jungle land. When we first moved into our current location there were only 5 families. Now that our houses have been built and the airstrip is under construction we have received word that more families will be heading our way soon. The people in this photo are among the original 5 families.

Part of the neighborhood

After 3 1/2 months in the tribe without email communication or internet access we are back in town. Praise the Lord for technical help that we received from an NTM missionary living in PNG across the border from us so that we can send and receive emails when we go back to Sawa later on this month. Be watching for pictures and updates as we learn the ropes of creating a blog and setting up our own NTM web site. Please pray that this will go smoothly as we look forward to sharing more with you!
