Perseverance
In a way its comforting to know that the “race” of life isn’t done here on this earth till we meet Christ face to face. Paul reminds us as believers to “fight the good fight, keep the faith”.
We graduate here in December and as days go by, we are closer and closer to going overseas. We’re both so excited to embark on the journey of taking God’s precious Word to people who have never heard it!! Our prayer is that WE can join with you to see a tribe reached, we hope and pray you’ll be blessed!! Until next time!! –Webbs–
Check out the new video!! May you be blessed!! www.ntm.org/reach/

Well folks the day has arrived, Avery is taking steps, not consistently, but little steps. Today he got up all on his own and took 6 steps!!!
As I watch him, I can’t help but think about the steps we take with God; some are big steps, some are small, some are scary steps, some steps we fall. God will never leave us and that is comforting even when the steps seem scary…..

Big boy!!
8 Pound Bass!
Classes have been going great! I always look forward to Friday though
Every Friday night I usually go fishing with some of the guys around here. My wonderful wife always lets me go =D Anyway, I ended up catching an 8 pound bass last night! I’ll put the picture up pretty soon here. If any of you ever want a little “R&R” for the weekend Shelby and I would love to have you come visit! I’ll make sure to take you fishing too

Webb’s Update!!!
Greetings to our co-laborers of Second Wind!
We so much wish we could be there in person to pray, hug, and share with all of you what God is doing not only overseas but here in the states. Today is missions Sunday there at Second Wind, we want to THANK all of you personally for the prayers and support you all have offered. We truly cannot do anything without the prayers and support of other believers. So in the name of the Lord, we thank you!
Here’s a little update/prayer requests:

-We have traveled 10 different states this summer, as we have been “rv”ing with Ryan’s parents in helping them find land to buy, and also seeing family. Rving is a new thing for us; I have used terms such as “gray water”, “holding tank”, “why is it that color coming out of the sink?”, I think you get my drift……Overall it has been a blessed summer. We both have been blessed by others and hopefully have been a blessing to be around.

Avery’s corner: What a big boy he is! He’s almost 10 months old, with 4 teeth; he constantly makes us smile; his temperament is so happy and explores everything and I mean everything! I turn away for 1 second and look back and the kid is finding leaves, rocks, food, anything within arms reach! At the end of the day, he goes to bed tired, and so do I
-We are excited to get back to the Missionary Training Center in Roach, MO where we will finish our last phase of training with New Tribes Mission. We graduate in December and then will start Partnership Development (PD), where we will speak at different churches and raise support for, Lord willing, heading over to Papua New Guinea in the next 1-1 1/2 years! This semester involves many decisions that will need to made, as far as, getting in touch with the Papua New Guinea (PNG) field leadership in writing letters of intent to serve in PNG, planning out our roadmap of the various churches/people we want to meet with in our PD time.
-We will be writing a Fall newsletter in the next month or so updating with more news and keeping you all updated with everything.
Feel free anytime to write, email, call us!! We love to hear how the Lord is working in the body of believers in Second Wind!
Again, we wish we could be there physically, but we are there in Spirit. Thank you again for all the prayers, and support, we could never do this without you guys!!!
Because He said “Go”, Ryan, Shelby, and Avery Webb
7 states and counting……..
Hey Family and Friends!!!
We’ve had a wild and crazy summer and definitely eventful. As of now, we are in Colorado helping Ryan’s parents find land to buy, we’re super excited to be helping them and taking care of them in this way. Ryan has been driving his mom around to different properties. I have been busy taking care of “home”-meaning the rv. My role has been mainly cooking, cleaning, and of course taking care of our little guy. Who by the way, turned 9 months!! He has two bottom teeth and the two top teeth are popping out as we speak!! Needless to say he’s been a little cranky. Poor guy! He’s as happy as a lark all the time so we know he doesn’t feel good when he’s super cranky.
We’ll be back in school August 17th and we are super excited for a new semester. We’ve got some different goals that we wrote down and we hope and pray to see those accomplished with the Lord’s help. Email us or drop us a note anytime, would love to hear from you all! Expect a fall newsletter in about a month!
God’s been so good, like He always is, providing for us every step of the way!
Until all have heard,
The Webbs:)
5 days till Summer break!!!
Hey Everyone!
We are done with school this coming Tuesday (19th). It is going to be a sad time, we will miss all of the Support track students who will be leaving and not coming back next semester.
Right after class on Tuesday we are driving down to Houston, where we will stay with Ryan’s parents for awhile, before we help them find land!
We will be keeping this updated throughout the summer so remember to check back and keep up with the Webb’s this summer!
We really hope to make it up to NE for a week or two to see family and friends from Second Wind Church!
Keep in touch! Because He said GO, The Webbs!
GOD BLESS!
Happy Mother’s Day! Update!!
-We have been super busy with classes and homework. The homework load towards the end has been very full.
-Please pray we can keep engaged till the end and not be anxious for the summer.
-Avery’s corner: The little guy has had a cold for about a month! Sometimes that’s all were doing is wiping his nose! Other than that, still growing (22lbs) and wears it all in his cheeks!
-We would LOVE to get some emails from you guys and hear what’s going on in your lives and how we can be praying for you all!!! ryan_webb@ntm.org
Love in Christ,
Ryan, Shelby, and Avery:)
Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mom’s who preview our site!!!
The end is in sight……….
It was a fun and exciting weekend. My parents came and visited us from NE.
Ryan had a fun time going on a “man” camping trip! He and a couple other guys went to Ponca State Park in Arkansas (about 3 hours away from here). They had a blast rock climbing, repelling, hiking, and just enjoying the fellowship with each other. It was definitely great to have him home after his trip, but I am so glad that he got go!
We’re about 1 month away from Summer break! Our plan is to head down to TX where Ryan’s parents are, and RV around helping his mom look for land to buy! We’re super excited to be a blessing to his parents and help in whatever way we can. We’ll probably try to see family and friends. We want to try and make it to NE and AZ to see family/sending church!
Hope you enjoy our update! We’ll keep you all posted of our plans!!
Love to all!
