Over the last couple of months we have been enjoying a bit of a slower pace with our changes in ministry roles. This year I have been concentrating on ‘mobilisation ministry’, this involves teaching and taking meetings at conferences, seminars and in local churches to declare Gods heart to reach ‘least reached peoples’ with the Gospel of Jesus. This also involves consultancy and mentoring of Christian leaders toward individual and church involvement in missions.
In recent years I have had an emerging passion to see missional leaders develop, to this end I will attend a two week professional leadership development course (Leadership Matters Course – LMC) in Turkey in May with a view to possibly contribute to future LMC’s. The course covers areas such as: Public Relationship skills; Training; Creative Thinking and Decision Making; Management skills; Motivational skills, Relationship and Communications skills.
While in the region, I will also have the prospect of visiting with Caleb in London for a couple of days, I am very thankful for this opportunity as we have not seen him for almost a year now.
Donna continues to be busy keeping Katie and me going and on track, she is still doing a couple of shifts each week at the local hospital, and is involved at our local church.
The next couple of months look to be quite busy for both of us with a variety of projects on including dealing with health issues. Thank you so much for standing with us, we so appreciate your partnership in the Gospel.
