The truck arrived right on time! Ron and I have been very busy for the past few weeks packing and putting everything out in the garage awaiting this day. We had close to 15 students and staff from New Tribes Bible Institute Jackson willing and ready to load. What a blessing each one of them were in loading everything. Two hours later we were all loaded and heading off to McDonald’s for lunch.
One last farewell get together with the staff. One last Chapel with the students. Give our dog one last bath before the trip and here new home in Idaho. One last look around the house to make sure we got everything. One last look around Jackson.
And we are on our way. The Adventure Begins again! I have a picture of our oldest daughter, Keisa, holding up a sign just like that when she was only 9 years old. Twenty years ago and we are still on an Adventure for the Lord.
Our summer will be filled with a wedding of our daughter, Kayla to Craig Gilley. Building a garage to store our household items while we are gone. And hopefully being able to stop by and see many of you before we leave.
Tickets are bought and the departure date is set for August 26th. We would appreciate your prayers as this is going to be a very difficult language to learn and it is going to be particularly hard to say good-bye to our kids and 4 beautiful grand-children.
