THE REAL NEEDS
The heart of compassion that folk have for the indigenous peoples of the world is good. Yet we need to focus that heart of compassion on the reality of eternity and the lost estate of the indigenous people. Many indigenous people are eternally separated from God; without hope; living in spiritual darkness and hearts burdened with the guilt of sin.
God knows that eternity separated from Him is a much greater problem than the lack of ease that most of us know in the ‘modern’ world. We, as children of God, need to see as He sees and then we will appreciate how eternally lost the indigenous people of the world are.
May we learn to see as God sees and view this world as God does.
