About

How He led us

God desires to use any life.  He uses some rather ordinary people to accomplish His purposes.  He prepares them before they ever find their hearts willing to do His Will.”

We had the privilege to experience cross cultural tribal mission training with NTM. It had taken us so long to commit to full time training and preparation for service in mission.  In our past involvement in mission, we were often challenged that “God is not concerned with your ability but in your availability.”  Our continued involvement led us to a mission outreach with NTM.  It pointed us to it’s core values, “The certainty that God desires to use any life.” This means that NTM is committed to providing opportunities to believers for service based on the Grace of God.  It is by God’s Grace that the way was open for us to leave our careers and home to commit to a time of preparation for mission.  It was a time of learning to look to the Lord to see us through the training.  He has shown us His providence.  He showed us His persuasion.

Experiencing Missions

Over the years we had different mission experiences to Tribal people groups in the South East Asian region. Candice and I were the Malaysian Representatives for a Tribal Ministry to the Akha Tribe of Northern Thailand. We frequently made trips to the mountains to serve in the ministry. We have also regularly participated in short term missions to various parts of Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia. We were further challenged to missions from our ministry of hosting missionaries.

Where He is leading us

NTM’s focus is on unreached tribal peoples.  The Lord willing, we hope to move into a tribal location in Kalimantan (Borneo), Indonesia by 2010.  We will live in the tribe to learn their culture and language and earn the right to share Christ with them.
