parking lot has filled up

Full Parking Lot

The new semester has begun here at NTBI.  A whole new class of freshmen has come and today was their first day of classes.  It has been exciting to see all the new freshmen get acquainted with their surroundings and their peers.  Adjusting to these new surroundings, people, and even cultures can be difficult at first but eventually it all becomes routine.

As you may have noticed, we have a brand new ministry site designed for ease of use and more common blog functionality.  Many of our co-workers have been working diligently to roll out this new site.  There are still a few bugs being worked out like some of our photos are not yet restored. Take a look around and see how you like it.  Sign up on the new subscription page to get our periodic updates and to be notified of new blog posts.  We would love your feedback as we get “moved in” to this new site!

Aqua Team

Youth Day is a fun pack twelve hour day for teens to get a better idea of what God is doing among unreached people groups and how they can be part of His work.  Nathan got to be the Master of Ceremonies this year.  He brought two Bible school students as well as two teens from our youth group to join in on the days activities.  They all had a blast.  Below is a photo journal of the day. Ellis Family

What would you do if you left the suitcase packed with all your children’s clothes at home?  Well, we didn’t quite leave it at home. We had some help not bringing it with us to Cincinnati.

We had some student friends living with us last week while they were packing all their belongings and cleaning their apartment. On Saturday morning we were both getting ready to leave and had suitcases all over the first floor of our house. In the hurried pace of the morning they ended up taking our kids suitcase with them to Missouri! (more…)

Working together

Saturday, September 29th, 2007

It is comforting to know that you don’t have to do it all yourself.  There are people God allows in our lives to help us in areas that we are weak or just need a hand in.  On Friday, NTBI President, Rex Gutwein and I, along with our wives, met with Dr. Felix Aguilar and 32 of his students at Taylor University in Upland, Indiana.

The objective of this meeting was to present the ministry of NTM as well as give an initial look into the issue we are facing with our current student records program(s). (more…)
