313 do you have any traffic? Roger that.
That’s right- I am doing “Radio Sked” for the next couple of days. Cindy (in the pic) is out of town for a few days and asked if I’d take over for her. It’s been a fun time of learning new lingo, making goofy mistakes, and connecting with fellow tribal missionaries.
So- why radio? Well, it is the main way to contact our missionaries serving in remote locations. Many of those tribal missionaries don’t have access to email, so the radio contact at 7 am each morning is their main way to communicate- with us here in town, and with other missionaries. I’ve really enjoyed getting a little taste of this ministry- soon I’ll be on the other end of that khhhhh…radio….khhhh
