Michael and Nancy Dore Tribal Missions About
We are currently in training at the NTM Mission Training Center in Roach, MO. This is the final stage of our training with NTM – two years of classes combined from those in the Missions Institute and the Language Institute. One of the reasons they combined these was so that they were in the same location. (Hey, the less moving we have to do the better!) We would like to stay an extra semester (and a half?) so Michael can study advanced linguistics (which NTM recommends). Lord willing, we will graduate sometime in the spring of 2008.
We have really enjoyed learning from the variety of classes – anything from "Communicating Cross-Culturally" to "Phonetics", "Tech-Tips" (how to live overseas) to "Teaching Skills", "Christian Life" to "Teamwork"!
We thank God for this opportunity to train for some of the things we will face on the field. These classes will prove invaluable as we face the incredible task of spreading the Word of God around the world.
