Mason and Kim Lockwood Just another weblog We just wanted to ask you to be in prayer for us this week. Mason left two nights ago and is working on the house! The kids and I will join him in a couple of days. We are excited about finally living among the people up there and are asking for your prayers as we settle in. Soon the kids and I will board the helicopter and 35 or so minutes later we will land near our new home. There is a huge celebration planned by the people there and thousands are planning to be waiting to greet us when we arrive. Then there will be a 2 day feast celebrating our moving in. It may be a bit overwhelming for the kids especially. Please pray for us as we set up house and learn to live up there. Pray too for wisdom and good relationships with the people.

We’ve built most of our home in the bush and are currently waiting on the funds to make a permanent move to the tribe in order to begin learning language. The people are excited to have us come. I’ll start building some doors and cabinets tomorrow.
