Home Sweet Home
We loved being at "home" for the summer but we were excited to finally arrive back to our little apartment 101. Our cozy abode was just as it was when we had left it, only a little dustier. Thankfully Laken took care of dusting the floor with his infamous belly drag crawl. His shirt was black after his first run around the house.
We arrived a week before classes started so that we could get back into the swing of things. It was nice just spending a bit of time with just the three of us. We took Laken to the lake every day. He loves the water. He is such a goof. We took the week to get Laken on a good schedule as he would be starting childcare back up once we started classes. Thankfully we got back when we did because it took Laken every day of that week to get used to being in Missouri.
