NTM

The ministry that we have been involved in and plan to continue in is that of “Support” work.  Our heart in ministry is to encourage and help missionaries in any way that we can in order to further the reach of the gospel.   The areas that we fit well with are construction and MK (missionary kid) ministries.

We are so thankful for the opportunity that we had to serve in Bolivia with New Tribes Mission’s finest!  It was a sad day when the MK school in Tambo closed in 2004, but the Lord knew what He was doing.  Through the closing of the school, the Lord lead us to seek out new opportunities for ministry.  In the years since, we have researched other NTM fields and their needs.

It is exciting to see the Lord begin to open the doors now to the field of PNG.  We are looking into a similar type of minsitry as we did in  Bolivia: construction and maintenance at the supply center for the Highlands Region, and education and discipleship of missionary children.

Thank you for praying for us as we raise our support this year!  We hope to be on the field by January 2010, but until then, we hope to be a blessing where we are at in Montana.
