Ken and Kim White ministry among the Kuman New Opportunities
Ken and I have had some neat opportunities present themselves during the last month. We have been able to start an evangelistic study with a Kuman couple who live and work here at the center. They have been taught before, mostly in the trade language, and are enjoying seeing some things more clearly as they hear the message in the their heart language. When we began our study, they also asked if we would be willing to teach them to read in Kuman. Kim has been meeting with them every afternoon and they are making good progress. They have even wanted to meet over their lunch hour on the couple of days when Kim could not meet at their regular time. There are a number of other Kuman families living near the center and Nigl, the man whom we meet with, is sure that there are some among them who would like to hear the study as well. So, even living out of the village, there are numerous opportunities to share the Gospel with the Kuman folks.
