My primary ministry is teaching at Faith Academy, Davao City.  I teach 4th grade.  We use primarily U.S. eclectic curriculum.  We do offer sports programs, and band/orchestra.  Our school here in Davao has recently expanded to a K-12 school.  For those who wish, Faith has a larger campus in the Manila area where students (and families) can  opt for a boarding school situation.

Teaching is my primary ministry but I am in no way tied to just that.  There are many areas of ministry in which I find myself involved.  I am involved in a local church, with people in the neighborhood and with many Filipinos who have their own areas of ministry.  I am also currently the lead teacher for the elementary division of our school.  I have always been someone who enjoys helping and encouraging and I find many ways to do that here.

I am currently at my four year mark here in Davao.  Since I came at Christmas (mid-school year) I am now with my fifth class.  I currently have Koreans, Americans and a German student in my class.  I have a potential of receiving three or four more students within the next month or two.
