Please Pray:
For our spiritual growth.
For effectiveness in our ministries.
For wisdom with our time and money.
For our financial need.
For our relationship with each other.
For us to find the church where the Lord wants us here in Jackson.
Praise:
We are settled into our home and ministries.
For the direction and purpose that we have.
For our supporters that we have.
For the contentment that we have found in our ministries.
For the opportunities that we have had to share during chapels, classes and just with the students.

Well, the semester has started and boy does it get busy fast! This semester we have 78 freshmen, 27 sophomores, 67 juniors and 2 seniors for a total of 176 students. For us, that means 176 names to learn and faces to recognize, but we are determined to get to know them all before their time here is up.
Joseph is being kept very busy with the maintenance of the grounds. One afternoon a week he has three students that work for him as part of their campus ministry. He is really enjoying getting to know these guys better. He is also involved with the Prison Ministry along with several male students. They go to the Jackson Correctional Facility every other week and teach the Bible to a group of inmates. Joseph is also involved with the inter-mural sports in the school, which is more fun than ministry for him!
Karen is being kept on her toes, in the bookstore at the school, as she learns all that is involved in managing the store. She really enjoys having five female students working for her as a part of their campus ministry and she is hoping to get to know them well. Karen is also heading up a Staff Ladies Bible study on every other Wednesday night. She is praying that it will be a time of growth, encouragement and fellowship.
Together, we share during different chapels and spend time having different students and staff over for meals and fellowship. We’re working on turning our basement into a sort of Rec. room to encourage students to come and hang out or just get away.
Along with our ministry here at NTBI, we are also working on partnership development, so on some weekends we have speaking appointments at different churches, as we said before, it is busy!
