We’re getting settled in to our new home on Borneo. In some ways it’s different than our home on Java where we lived for a year. For one thing, being closer to the equator means that the sun’s rays are much more intense here. For example, I can easily get sunburned if I go riding on my motorcycle for five minutes or less! This results is the need to either wear sunscreen everyday or wear a jacket – which a lot of people do. Who thought that one would need to wear a jacket on the equator! Another difference is we get to have dogs here! Andrew loves playing with the puppies that the dog had just before we got here.
We want to say thank you to all who are sacrificially supporting us during this time of financial crisis in the economy. You are a real blessing to us and your support allows us to serve the Lord on Borneo as well as our fellow missionaries throughout Indonesia.
