All right! Yesterday we got the last of the paperwork that we needed to in order to apply for Andy’s passport. Please pray that the passport application process will go quickly so that we can get back to Indonesia this Summer. Once his passport is completed we can begin working on his Indonesian paperwork.

Today at our church in Nevada we celebrated our commitment to raise Andrew in a way that gorifies God.  Our church calls this a parent dedication.  It symbolizes our desire to have a family atmosphere in which Andrew can come to know Jesus Christ as his Saviour and Lord.  Janalyn and I both want to foster spiritual growth in Andrew’s life that will draw him closer to Jesus.

Please pray for us as we try to figure out just what to bring with us as we head out to Nebraska in a few weeks.  We will be flying so our packing space will be limited.  Especially with bringing baby stuff, please pray that we would have wisdom in what to take with us and what to leave behind.

Now that I’m back from Indonesia, please pray that Janalyn and I can get Andrew’s American Passport as well as the necessary Indonesian paperwork for our return trip.

I just returned from a trip to Indonesia in order to process some paperwork.  Overall my trip went really well.  I was able to finish the paperwork and check out an area where we might serve.  I was also able to reconnect with some friends (both Western and Indonesian) that we made when we were studying language.  Although it was a good time, I sure am glad to be back with my wife and son!
