Training Missionary Candidates
August 2006 was the grand opening of New Tribe Mission’s MISSIONARY TRAINING CENTER on Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. NTM has been training missionaries for over 50 years, but finally intergrated 2 phases to one location.
We’ve been on campus for the last 15 years, since our return from serving in Indonesia. Jim’s had a myriad of ministries during that time, and is currently Director of Outreach. This program sends our students into the community with the goal of sharing Christ in a relevant way, with believers and unbelievers alike.
Personal Development is also a part of our ministry. We meet weekly with students and really enjoy our times with them.
Jim works with the Student Praise Band who share music in weekly Chapels.
He’s been able to teach a few modules and enjoys this interaction with students.
