About
It’s been a summer FULL of ministry opportunities!
You may not think a green lawn could minister, but trust me, it does! And we have one now! We’re thankful for the faithful Mongolian workers Jim had this summer to get so many projects accomplished – stonework on the building & yard~a raised-bed garden~seeding the yard~irrigation systems for our yard and one of our countryside outreaches~three cars’ inspections completed (Phew!)~a new roof put on our neighboring bath house~rain gutters put on the NTM building~a new balcony on the building, too~a deck on the building~and the list could go on with all the little things that fill Jim’s days.
God is faithful to get Lianne through each day in the office, too! Lianne really dislikes mind games – puzzles, mazes, crossword puzzles, etc. – but some days it feels like she’s playing "Where’s Waldo?" as she makes sure accounts line up. It’s when she comes to the end of herself that she discovers anew just how great our Lord is as He – again – shows her the answer to the "mystery" at hand.
There’s also been spiritual labor abounding this summer! Jim and Lianne made a trip to the countryside location we used to live in to encourage teammates and believers. Well, WE were certainly encouraged at what the Lord is doing in the lives of those we began praying for 10 years ago! Jim made a trip to our other work station and was – again – encouraged by how the Mongolian believers are holding the faith.
We’ve also been able to be a part of a weekly Bible study with our workers. There’s at least one unbeliever that attends. It has been nothing short of EXCITING to see our workers sharing Christ with him!
