Enroute to Mozambique -- 62 Days to Go!

My Lord, My God

But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe it.”
A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!”  Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”

Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!”

Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

This message helped me to focus once again on how I view my Lord, my God. Do I walk daily by faith or by sight?  I know that most of my updates talk about focus. I have come to realize that as soon as I take my eyes off of Him, I loose sight of what is really important.  As I sit in church services and prepare for Bible Studies, I am constantly reminded of how privileged I am / we are to have nearly unlimited resources of Bibles, commentaries, workbooks, all in our language.  As I look forward to Mozambique, I pray that I  keep the sense of urgency of joining His work here in Wisconsin with those He puts in my path and also in reaching the unreached in Africa.
