Thanks for your prayers for our one year old grandson, Reed. His surgery went great and he is recovering quickly. Ryan & Pam are a bit tired from some sleepless nights and the extra care needed with the bandaging. But we all are thankful the surgery is behind us.

Jerry has made it through that first difficult week after surgery for a herniated disk in his neck. Every day we notice a bit more movement and strength in his arm and less pain. Please continue to pray that the numbness will go out of his right hand.

The blender has been my best friend as I fix “meals” for Jerry. I’ve experimented with all kinds of milk shakes…from pumpkin pie spice to peach!

We have appreciated your prayers and concern as Jerry has been really suffering with a herniated disk in his neck affecting his shoulder and whole right arm. We tried medications, physical therapy and other things that were recommended, but nothing has helped with the pain and numbness. He has completely lost the reflex in his right arm. So he will be having surgery on Tuesday afternoon, November 20th. Because it involves the spine, surgery is a little delicate. We appreciate your prayers that the surgery will go well and for a quick recovery.
