Oh where to begin… I suppose a great big thank you for all your support and prayers is as good as any. THANK YOU!
We did indeed get the keys to our first home back on June 3rd, but not till late afternoon. So with a sense of calm and restraint we decided to wait till the next day to begin cleaning and painting. But the Lord had other plans.
In the wee hours of the morning we had to call Angie’s mom at work with the exciting news we were heading into the hospital to have Baby Bechtel #2. At 11:48am July 4th, Lorelei Marie arrived, weighing 8 lbs 15 oz — a little sister for Delena.
With the excitement over the baby not far behind us, we cracked the whip and tamed our new house with much cleaning, painting and repairs both little and not so little. Angie’s parents and aunt arrived Monday and Tuesday respectively, with reinforcements arriving Friday and Saturday.
By Saturday afternoon, not only had the vast majority of the main level been painted, but we were moved, and nearly all unpacked. I guess it shows that we have moved every couple of months with the same crew which are now well trained!
Praise the Lord with us that despite our best plans to have the baby and house NOT “happen” within hours of each other, the Lord gave us grace and peace.
