Hi Everyone!

What’s been happening?!

Well…we’ve started up again after a couple months of very few church groups coming through due to the time of year. Now that Spring is here we’re very busy once again. Although, I should say it’s never really a down time here as we continue to renovate the campus…the difference being having groups here requires our full participation on the weekends too.

This year started with our college wayumi program. This time there were 11 kids from Liberty University and 4 other participants. For those of you in Lapeer, MI…you’ll be interested in this, for the rest of you…Hadley is less than 10 miles from where I grew up… Anyway, as I was showing the students to their rooms and giving them a tour of the place, I just had to ask if any of them knew Allison Bedwell…It was one of those…yeah right?! Questions…Liberty University has 11,000 students so the chances were slim…but one of the guys answered YES…how do you know Allison? I was taken back a bit and said we go to the same church in Michigan…He said, “you’re from Lapeer?” anyway…long story short…one of the kids attending the program is from Hadley, MI, taking missionary pilot training at Liberty. So that was a really fun encounter. His family attends Hadley Baptist church. So we had a good long talk about Lapeer, Softball, etc… His name is Andrew Hollis. If you think of it…you could pray that the week he spent with us keeps fresh on his mind as he considers his future career. We sure could use some more Pilots on our mission fields!
