Posted in Ministry, NTM, News Article, Videos on Oct 22nd, 2009 | Discuss This Post

Hey friends,

Just returned from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago and also from Bixby, OK where I taught a Perspectives class. Had a great time and met some wonderful people. Lots of new ones, in fact.

I thought I would show you some video of the time I spent there. Hope you enjoy it. Keep the faith.

Kansas

Kansas

Cheryl and I have had a busy summer this year.  It first started out with a week at Whispering Winds Bible Camp in St. James, MO. About 80 kids came to camp to hear God’s Word taught three times a day, memorize Scripture, have plenty of activity time and finally, SLEEP!!!  WWBC has the three essentials for a good camp; keep in the Word, keep really active and eat very good.  This all leads to sleeping well and making it easier for the camp counselors to sleep well also. Plenty of chances to inform people of NTM’s purpose and methods.

This summer will be a busy time for Cheryl and I.  We are usually a little less busy during the summer as colleges are not in session and churches have other plans, but this time it will be different.   Read the rest of this entry »

Short-Term Opportunities Associates

Many of the opportunities listed in the previous column are also available on a short-term basis.  Because NTM needs laborers in so many areas, we can use people who are still committed to reaching tribal people but can only do it for a short time, such as 6 mos. – 4 years. We also have shorter-term opportunities listed below.

Wayumi
Wayumi

Wayumi

Wayumi is a short-term educational program located in central Pennsylvania.  Its purpose is to educate interested people NTM’s church-planting strategy.  You can be involved in the program from a weekend to a full week.  Check out the link to its website.http://www.ntm.org/missiontrips/wayumi.php

Interface

Side-Trip
Side-Trip

Like Wayumi, Interface’s purpose is to educate interested people in who NTM is, what they do and understanding the rationale for planting churches the way that they do, but in much greater detail.  You would spend six weeks in Papua New Guinea living next to a tribal village being educated in all aspects of NTM strategy.  Go to the link below. http://www.ntm.org/missiontrips/interface.php

Assist Summit Assist teams go to different countries where NTM works and help out in different work projects.  The link below will give you the contact info you need to find out more. http://www.ntm.org/missiontrips/assist.php

Internships This is for college students and usually works in conjunction with the Interface program.  Please contact the Summit office at MissionTrips@ntm.org for more info.
