Crazy Love
The trip to Mexico with our church was excellent. There were fifteen of us who helped out three missionary families as they don\’t have time to work on their own houses. We framed, put up sheet rock, taped, plastered, and helped clean one house.
While in Mexico our group read a book called “Crazy Love” by Francis Chan. It was a challenging and encouraging book. Here is a quote, but it does not do the book justice to only quote one paragraph because the whole book was excellent:
“People who are obsessed with Jesus aren\’t consumed with their personal safety and comfort above all else. Obsessed people care more about God\’s kingdom coming to this earth than their own lives being shielded from pain or distress.”
