What Katrina learned in Papua New Guinea
Tuesday, October 6th, 2009Where Katrina is right now
Saturday, August 1st, 2009
As I write this, it is nearly dawn on Sunday morning in the Dinangat village where Katrina is visiting. We haven’t heard from her, but if the flight taking her in had not gone well we would have. NTM Aviation has an outstanding safety record.
The Dinangat people heard the Gospel just over a year ago, and two of the three New Tribes missionary families that are working among them are visiting friends, family and churches in their home countries. The family that is there and doing translation and literacy work with the people are Jeremiah and April Markley.
Katrina rocketing toward Interface
Thursday, July 2nd, 2009Before dawn this morning, Katrina started the first phase of her trip to Papua New Guinea. The whole family was up at 3:00am and off to the airport.
Katrina’s first stop will be California. Her team will meet for several hours this afternoon for orientation. Then late tonight or early Friday morning, depending on your time zone, they will be heading over the Pacific Ocean.
God graciously supplied all of Katrina’s financial needs through many of you. …But all her needs still aren’t met. She needs you to remember to pray for her every day.
