God continues to build his church among the tribal people of the world and we are thankful to be a part. Reports like the following thrill our hearts:

SANTA CRUZ, Bolivia: Missionaries spent the last week of June teaching God’s Word to 52 Simbas at the home of Kurinda, an older Simba man.

"Most of those 52 heard the Gospel for the first time and responded with simple belief," wrote Jack Russell.

GOROKA, Papua New Guinea: Missionaries Luke De Jager and Tim Holmgren concluded evangelistic Bible teaching in March and are encouraged to see growth among the small group of Kafe believers. A couple of the believers, not yet four months old in the Lord, have been boldly sharing their faith.

Faimo recently stood up in front of his old friends and said, "Listen, did the law given to Moses die for your sins, or did your good works die for your sins?"

He then told them that when Jesus died for their sins He alone made the only road to Heaven.

Pray for continued growth in the lives of the new believers and that the missionaries will have wisdom as they disciple the new church.

Our ministry responsibilities here at the US Headquarters continue to keep us quite busy. There are a number of special activities coming up in the next few weeks and we are looking to them. We will be hosting a Field Ministries Forum as well as a Pastors’ Forum in August. Dan will be involved in those meetings and the Guest Facility will be full so we will both be extra busy in during that time.

The family is doing well. Chris and Heather will be moving to Augusta, GA at the end of July. Chris will still be teaching Spanish, but they made the move because he has taken an assistant basketball coach position at the University of South Carolina at Aiken. Ally and Justin are enjoying the privilege of being parents. It’s hard to believe that Lana is almost 8 months old already. We really enjoy being grandparents.

Thanks again for your support of our ministry. May the Lord richly bless!

These days continue to be quite busy and we count it a privilege to be a part of seeing tribal people around the world have a chance to hear the Gospel. I heard a report yesterday from our leadership in Papua New Guinea that they are anticipating that 17 tribal groups will hear the Gospel for the very first time in the next 12 months. The is exciting news to realize that men, women and children who have been bound in darkness without hope will soon hear that their creator has provided a way for them to be reconciled to HIM. That is why we’re laboring here in Sanford to provide the support necessary for those ministering around the world.

On the personal side, I am thankful for the continued recovery from Mono. It’s hard to believe that the effects can linger so long, but I guess that’s what happens when old guys get attacked by viruses like that. I have been able to maintain a normal schedule, but the strength and stamina are not quite what they used to be, but I see improvement. Thanks for your prayers.

The family is doing well. Chris and Heather are planning to move to Augusta, GA sometime this summer. Please pray for the sale of their home. Chris has taken a teaching position in Augusta, but will also be coaching basketball at the University of South Carolina-Aiken. Heather will be working on finishing her degree at Augusta State.

Ally and Justin are doing well and enjoy parenthood. Justin continues his work with Werner Enterprises and Ally has just taken a new position with a larger insurance agency.

Gwen and I are thoroughly enjoying being grandparents. Gwen is juggling baby sitting with her ministry here at HQ so she is extra busy, but it is great to spend time with the grandbaby.

Thanks so much for your interest and support of our ministry. May the Lord richly bless!
