We are currently living in Florida raising support before heading to Indonesia. This is considered our ministry while we are here.

We are looking to the Lord for leaving in November 2009 or April 2010. This will depend on our visa needed to enter the country and having a support team who shares our vision of reaching tribal groups with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

NTM in Indonesia recommends us to have a goal of $4,500 per month. If interested, here’s how the expenses are broken down:

Personal expenses – living, trasportation, education (boys), housing, etc

Ministry expenses – traveling, communication, legal, furloughs, administration, etc

Benefits/Taxes – medical insurance, savings, taxes, etc.

Some facts about Indonesia:

Stretches 3,000 miles along the equator between Australia and the Asian continent.

It is an island nation with an incredible mixture of cultures and ethnic groups inhabiting the various 13,600 islands.

Over 85 percent are Moslem with 4 other approved religions: Hinduism, Buddhism, Protestant, and Catholic.

The world’s fourth most populous nation with over 241 million people (July 2005 est.). Indonesia’s people are many and varied with complex ethnic origins.
