Serving in Mission Aviation

About

This aircraft could be an answer to the problem of a shortage of AVGAS around the world, and could change the face of mission aviation. The airplane will always need a well trained pilot, but also a pilot willing to give of his time to encourage tribal missionaries…

The use of aircraft around the world has saved missionaries countless hours hiking over mountainous terrain, days of river travel, and many trips by public transportation  through mud bogs, otherwise called roads, and of course  many headaches.  Medivac flights have saved hundreds of  lives when time was the enemy, both for the tribal people and the missionaries.

Imagine yourself in utter isolation in the middle of a foreign jungle.  You are trying to learn the language and culture of this unique people group  to give them the true story of their Creator…but you are alone. Your partners left the tribe three weeks ago for a medical furlough.  As you stand on the airstrip wondering how you arrived in this situation, you hear the drone of a small airplane.

That sound represents fresh vegetables, mail from the outside world, and needed equipment to repair your solar panel.  But more than that, the pilot represents someone who speaks your own language; someone who can understand what you are feeling and encourage you to stick with it.  He is your link to the outside world…

…this is what mission aviation is all about.
