Here is a list of tangible things we need that you can be a part of providing that will be a huge benefit to us in our ministries:
1) Gift Cards- these are very helpful in general. We are able to use them to take students out and build relationships with them. They also help us get basic things we need. Some of the most helpful include- Starbucks, Applebees, Walmart, McDonalds, Tacobell, Meijer, and gas cards.
2) Chris’ Book Wishlist- one of our greatest ministry expenses are the new books Chris needs to purchase for class preparation. He keeps an ongoing list of the books he would like to add to his library for different classes on Amazon.com. To view it follow these steps- go to www.amazon.com, click on "Wish Lists," in the search box type in chrismc_ttu@yahoo.com, and you are there. Yes, there are lots of books!
3) Office Furniture- we both need new office furniture. Chris’ desk is on loan from the school, and Amanda’s chairs are inadequate for the long discussions that take place in them.
4) We could also use a new A/C unit for this summer.
We will try to keep a list like this updated on this site if you would like to check it at various times. Thanks for your partnership with us.

1) Pray for Chris as he put together notes on Jeremiah, Lamentations, and begins Ephesians over the break.
2) Pray for safe travel for the students as they go all over the country for the break.
3) Be praying that God will challenge the hearts of the students so that they can come back ready to be trained and equipped effectively next semester.
4) Pray that we both get needed rest before the next semester, and that we will enjoy time together while everyone is gone.
5) Continue to pray for our financial needs. We are trusting God to challenge new people to take the step to begin partnering with us. Our support needs to increase, and we believe that the Lord will provide. Be praying with us.

The Fall 07 semester is finished, and all of us are very ready for a break over Christmas. We both had a great semester of ministry. It is exciting to see how much we have learned and grown over three semesters. The Lord has been faithful to challenge us and teach us just as He does those in training under us. This semester we have spent hours upon hours talking about Romans, the Christian Life, studying the Bible, etc. We have had fun times, and we have also both had to have hard conversations with people. As the semester comes to a close, we both can’t help but sit back and praise God that we get to be a part of equipping these trainees for a lifetime of ministry here and abroad. You can’t get much better!
We can’t wait to hear how God uses them in the future!
Over the break we will be spending most of our time in Jackson getting ready for the Spring semester. We will spend 5 days in Pennsylvania with Amanda’s family.
