How many people?

How Many People Does it Take to Reach a Tribe for Christ?
It takes more than one willing person to share the Gospel with an unreached tribe. Consider the task of the tribal missionary. First he needs instructors to teach him how to learn, understand and eventually communicate with the tribe. To be most effective he needs a sending agency composed of accountants, secretaries, tech support, and leadership to name only a few. Once overseas he needs transportation into the remote location in which he will serve. This may be via aircraft, boat, or automobile, all of which need someone to maintain them. He also needs someone to purchase his supplies, package them and give them to the pilot who will load them in the airplane and safely deliver them. Field Leadership is also necessary to coordinate the multiple works going on and deal with all the issues that will occur while ministering overseas. Once he has mastered the language, which is no short task, he needs someone to help him form an alphabet, and consultants to check and recheck his translation work. Then he needs someone to print and put together the Scriptures he and others have worked so hard to complete. Then he has to teach the people to read.  None of this could be accomplished without the prayers and financial support of people back home who want to have part in the work he and the others are doing. Expanding the reach of the Gospel takes people; it takes the family of God to complete such a task. God has given the necessary gifts and The Mandate to go and it is up to us to cooperate with His plan. As Christmas approaches, Thank God that someone shared the Gospel with you, and think of all the people God used just to reach YOU! One Man completed the work of Salvation, but it takes the rest of us who trust in His Completed Work to effectively share with others what He did for them. Thanks so much for your prayers and support. Together we can reach another tribe for Christ.
