On Monday last week I had my regular blood clotting test at Dr. Cooper’s. My blood clotting time was rather high indicating that my blood wasn’t clotting very fast. On Sunday night I was feeling kind of funny and my lip went numb, I was a little dizzy and my left side went weak. I didn’t think that I was having a stroke as it wasn’t as dramatic as the stroke that I had last year and my blood clotting time was just so high. I decided to go and have my blood tested today. And it was clotting very fast as though I wasn’t on any medication to slow it down. How could the bottom have dropped out so suddenly? As a result I spent most of the afternoon in the hospital to have a cat-scan and echo cardiogram. And then I got a blood clot busting shot. My left side still feels weak, and I came home exhausted,
Well I am back home and getting ready for classes tomorrow. Still no answer as to why my blood clotting time changed so drastically. I am on an elevated dosage of anti-coagulants and another appointment to have my blood checked on Friday. So I have another opportunity to trust the Lord and need to encourage myself In the truths of Scripture;
He loves me and will never forsake me
His plans for me are for good and not evil.
He can use me if I yield myself to Him.
He promises to meet my needs.
There is no need for me to worry about tomorrow as there are sufficient needs today to commit to his care.
Trusting in His loving Care.
