We are due to fly out on Thursday evening.
There is still a chance that we could hear something – but we have to be packed and we are almost ready to go. Andrew did attend the first day of his Junior Year today, and he is also registered to begin school in England on Sep 1st. Crazy eh?
Also we have tropical storm Fay ( not Faye! ) headed toward us as I type! It is already raining hard here.
We will serve at NTM UK – but need to get some housing figured out. The NTM staff housing is full so we will have to rent a home on the nearby housing development.
Thank you for praying ! We surely need it.

…..when I logged on to the US Immigration website this morning I noticed that our appeal has been forwarded to the Appeals Office.
This will hopefully mean that we will soon hear if the appeal is successful then we can proceed to the next step of the application or if the appeal is turned down then we will make plans to leave the USA around the 21st August.
Please keep praying that the Lord’s will will be done.

…..with our application for a green card being "up in the air" we thought it would be an opportune time to visit supporters and friends that we haven’t seen in nearly 4 years just in case we have to leave the USA.
We should be back in Florida by the end of July.

All is well here- we are still waiting to hear of the appeal to the Green Card denial. No idea when we will hear, or if it’ll be before the September deadline. We just had a visit with Luke’s mum and Scotty. They have been here on holiday in the US for 2 weeks. It was so good to spend time with them.
I was able to talk on the phone to Denny out in ’Africa’ this week. They are out there this summer- as you know we would have been too without the paperwork issue preventing us. She said that there were 100 adults in the Palaka church last Sunday – and about 100 children too. Great to hear that. Jean-Baptiste is doing 2 literacy classes and Eric is teaching the children once a week and the women once a week too. Denny said things look to be going well thus far. Verne is doing language study. They just completed a 6 village tour promoting literacy- we pray that some folks from those villages will be willing to take the classes. Even excited about taking the classes !
We just ran an orientation here at NTM USA HQ for 14 people, 3 of whom are headed to Guinea, West Africa, 1 lady going to Thailand and 10 people for Papua New Guinea- to different areas. Allan and I teach and run the course with our co-workers the Simpsons – or maybe they teach and run it with us – ha- it was a very full schedule, but a really good time of preparation for them all.
WE thank you so much for praying.

On June 16th begins PFO, which is an orientation for those headed to Guinea West Africa, Thailand and Papua New Guinea this summer.
Our staff team here- Dave and Jill Simpson and Allan and Mandy -are really looking forward to working alongside these new missionaries as they prepare to serve overseas.
We appreciate your prayers- they do too!

We just spent 3 days at a huge conference representing the work of NTM. It was great to have an opportunity to talk to young adults about what NTM is all about and how they could join us in short-term, medium term or career missions
