WAYNE GODDARD: Church planter among the Pai tribal people of Paraguay. Wayne grew up in Paraguay as an MK. From an early age Wayne lived among tribal people and saw the challenges faced by his parents in ministering cross culturally and in a different language. Seeing the need first hand left a lasting impression on Wayne. Later Wayne made the decision to go through the training with New Tribes Mission and return to Paraguay as a missionary. Wayne has been ministering to the Pai tribal group. His desire is to see all the tribes in the Guarani language group (about 40,000 people) given the opportunity to hear the Gospel message. Not to mention the other tribal groups in Paraguay that need a clear Gospel presentation. |
