How would you clearly communicate a story of a shipwreck in the Mediterranean nearly 20 centuries ago to a people group who live in the mountains of Mexico?
For hours two men labored to hone the translation of just Chapter 27 of the book of Acts into the Guarijio language. Missionary Terry Reed was exhausted, and he told his co-worker, Santos, it was time to stop for the day.
"Oh, don't stop now!" Santos said. "I don't remember how Paul gets out of this one. I know he has to be bitten by the snake yet, but I don't remember how he gets off the boat and onto the land."
Terry couldn't help but smile. "The story became alive and dynamic to him," Terry wrote -- exactly what a Bible translation is supposed to do.

A new school year started just this month, so it's a great time for you to start praying about whether you should be part of the next class.
