The Pai Tavy Teras were amazed as missionary Wayne Goddard and a Pai Tavy Tera couple, Pyka and Marta, spent three weeks teaching evangelistic Bible lessons.
Never before had they heard the Gospel with such clarity, or seen the stories in the context of the Bible as a whole.
Where did Wayne learn to teach the Bible this way, and learn well enough to teach Pyka as well? In New Tribes Mission's specialized training for planting tribal churches.
Now you're part of helping expand the reach of the Gospel to even more tribes, through your prayers and gifts to the new Missionary Training Center. Thanks for your involvement.
Today, missionaries working on developing curriculum will meet with their teammates on the campus development team. They will discuss a new classroom building needed for the fall of 2007. Pray for wisdom in planning the project, and funds to begin as soon as possible.
Missionaries Steve Marsh, John Abbott and Rhonda Schmidt have just returned from Mexico, which may become the site for a six-week practicum on building relationships in a cross-cultural setting. Please pray for God's direction on whether this is a viable option.
Please continue to pray for wisdom for the team developing curriculum guidelines, outlines, and more for the courses that will be taught when the Missionary Training Center opens in August 2006.
