Tom & Wanda were born and raised in Washington State and came to know Christ early in life. While raising their children, they served in their local church and worked in secular jobs. Both have studied through Moody Bible Institute and New Tribes Mission, receiving degrees in Cross-Cultural Ministry.

Since joining New Tribes Mission in 1999, Tom & Wanda have served at New Tribes Language Institute in Missouri and 4 years in Venezuela. While in Venezuela, they worked with the Panare tribe and served as the Guesthouse host and hostess.

Tom & Wanda have been part of the New Tribes Mission Missionary Care Team since January 2006. They serve and encourage fellow missionaries, providing refreshment and resources while they are home from their fields of service in the greater Pacific Northwest.
