Sunday June 8th will be another historic day for the Siawi church - a baptism is scheduled.
We had taught about baptism several times as we taught through Acts. We invited those who were interested to come and talk with us. We desired that those who wanted to be baptized would fully understand what they are doing and be able to give a clear testimony to the group as to their belief and reason for baptism.
Please be in prayer this week as we will be meeting with the believers who want to participate in baptism. There are quite a few young people, and many of them are very shy. For many, it will be the first time that they have given public testimony of their faith.
Our boys have also expressed a desire to be baptized and we are excited about this as well.
