Steve & Eida, Art, Esther

Steve and Eida met and married in San Gabriel, California. We moved to San Jose a year later, where we joined Branham Lane Church (now Neighborhood Bible Church).

Steve grew up in Venezuela, the son of missionaries. Eida was raised in southern California in a bilingual home. Our kids were small when we first went overseas.

We began our first term of missionary service in Colombia in 1982, after completing NTM training, and went right to work on the staff of the newly established "Instituto Misionero" [Missionary Institute].

In 1996, due to dangerous conditions in Colombia, we changed fields to Mexico, where we helped with getting the Instituto Misionero Transcultural up and running. Our kids finished high school there.

Art went on to study engineering and is now a CAD designer in the South San Francisco Bay Area. He enjoys expressing the artistic side of his nature by developing his photography skills. www.artirwin.com

Esther graduated from New Tribes Bible Institute and joined Atascadero Bible Church. She is now finishing NTM training in Missouri and seeking direction from the Lord for a ministry assignment http://estheruth.blogspot.com/

In 1998we left the training staff to establish the Spanish Language Resources ministry and soon afterwards our former partners from Colombia teamed up with us, working together remotely.

In 2004, we moved to El Paso, Texas, to alleviate Eida's environmentally-triggered health issues. The internet allows us to stay connected with the Spanish-speaking fields, translating and distributing resource material for Latin American missionaries.
