Budik tribe, Senegal
(October 19th, 2009): Two Budik believers -- Pityan and Nyano -- are working with missionary Ken Satorius on the translations of 1 and 2 Corinthians in the Budik language. They are also working on 1 Corinthians lessons to be taught in the coming months. Please pray that they will be able to complete their work and give the Budiks a clear and accurate translation. (October 1st, 2009): Geguuta, a Balanta believer, recently told missionary Dan Rabe that the death of Dan’s brother many years ago was a seed that helped produce the Balanta church. (September 21st, 2009): Missionary Ken Satorius will travel to Senegal Oct. 1 for six weeks to work with Budik co-workers, Pityan and Nyano, on lessons and translated Scriptures he has been working on while on home assignment. He is now working on the first draft of 2 Corinthians, the last book of the New Testament left to be translated.
