| Manjack Literacy |

| The Local Manjack believers desire to read the Scriptures that are translated into their language but most of them still cannot read their own language. A project has been started by Wycliffe Bible Translators and the United Bible Society of Senegal at the request of New Tribes Mission. The pilot literacy project has been in progress for two years and has taught 380 Manjacks to read at the cost of $53 per reader. |
| The next phase of teaching is ready to begin. $20, 600 has been supplied, and we want to provide the remaining $3,450. |

The literacy project is ready to expand and will reach out to Manjacks in Senegal and Guinea Bissau. The plan is to teach 525 additional people at the cost of only $46 per reader.
