Purpose:

YOU can have a part in Tribal Missions by filling the role of IT Technician in the Field Office in Dakar.

Responsibilities:

Download of emails and updates for our tribal missionaries without regular internet; Maintenance of the nine networked computers in the main office; Telephone and email support to the missionaries serving interior; Laptop repair; Go-between for the NTM Computer Dept in the States, handling orders and replacing parts ordered for the missionaries; regular backups of both of the administrative machines and those computers interior as well.

XPpro, Vista. Must know the Dell Latitude D600-D800 series running XPpro

Comments:

This position can be filled by an associate or a regular member. Our office network is a simple peer-to-peer setup, and the server is running XPpro.The supply store and bookkeeping stations are the most critical, as they access the NTM accounting software; Most of our missionaries are currently using the Dell Latitude D600-D800 series running XPpro, but many might be using Vista in the near future.
