The Western Tarahumara believers in Mexico are rejoicing over those who are listening to chronological Bible lessons and seeking to know the Savior.
Last week an older Western Tarahumara lady, Petra, came to visit missionary Ted Wingo, determined to hear God's Word. She comes every day to hear another lesson. She says she just wants a clean heart. Petra is staying at the ranch of several believers whose changed lives are making her desire to hear about Jesus who made such a difference in them.
Tomasa is the mother of two new believers who are creating a hunger in her heart. She wants a new life and attends the lessons every time she comes to the village.
Next week the missionaries will be out of the village to attend the annual field conference. The believers will meet at the ranch where Petra is staying. She will be there to watch the believers plan and execute their worship service entirely on their own without any direction from the missionaries.
Pray that God will minister to their hearts in a special way as they take this responsibility on their own. Pray also that those who are seeking Jesus will be drawn closer to Him and will trust their lives to Him.
