Missionaries have set in motion the plans to hold the first Northern Tepehuan baptism later this month in Mexico. Three Northern Tepehuan believers Juan, Cleotilde and Marcelo were the first to ask to be baptized. This is a huge step for them and will identify them as Christians to the entire village. Pray that others will decide to join them.
The missionaries have asked the believers from a neighboring tribe to be involved in the baptism. The Tarahumara church elders will baptize their Northern Tepehuan brothers in Christ. They will be traveling to the Northern Tepehuan village for the baptism.
Pray for their safety as they travel and for a good time of fellowship with their Northern Tepehuan brothers. Pray also for the believers as they identify with Christ in baptism.
