The Northern Tepehuan believers are growing in their relationships with Jesus and missionaries Matt and Starr Arnold want to promote that. Matt and Starr will begin meeting with the Northern Tepehuan Christians in small groups so they can begin to teach them the foundations of Christian living.
They meet with the women believers on Wednesday mornings. They want to provide an environment where the women can grow in their understanding of the Lord and can share openly. At this point Starr has asked Matt to be involved with the teaching, though he has to leave the meeting at some point so the women can be comfortable enough to open up.
Soon Matt hopes to begin meeting with the men. He wants a weekly time for prayer, sharing, training in reading the Bible and growing in their relationship with each other and the Lord. The day and time have not been determined. The Northern Tepehuan believers meet every Sunday. Pray that they would come to the meetings consistently and be sensitive to the Holy Spirit as the missionaries try to make the meetings more spontaneous with more sharing by the believers.
While the Northern Tepehuan missionary team is busy with the discipleship of new believers they also continue to teach the evangelistic Bible lessons. Kevin and Wendy Case and Matt and Starr are teaching at different times in the village.
Pray for the missionaries as they teach God's Word to the Northern Tepehuan.
