WE ARE FINALLY ON OUR WAY! |

Hi,
We are finally on our way to Mexico. It had been a rather uneventful trip until yesterday when we were detoured off our route because of a grass fire. We eventually made it to a place to stop for dinner but it took a LONG time. At one point we went about 20 miles in two hours. Because of the fire delay we didn’t make it to our stop for the night. We had to stop short. I guess that happened to a lot of people because the motel was filling up fast. After we got rooms, they had only three rooms left.
One time when we were in stop and go traffic we had the windows open and a cool breeze blew in. As the breeze hit me a peaceful calm came over me reminding me of how much God loves us. Jesus promised us that he will go with us as we go to the ends of the earth. What a promise we can bank on.
Today was somewhat slow going as well. But God has proven Himself faithful by showering us with travel mercies and blessings. We have had a nice time and the kids have been really well behaved.
We have two more days of travel and then you should hear from us that we made it. We will keep you posted.
