A TIME TO PRAISE AND A TIME TO PRAY (July 31, 2008)
Praises:
1) CLAware, the tribal software that Rand and another missionary programmer developed, is catching on like wildfire.
2) Debbie created the first ever tear-out prayer schedule for NTM@work magazine.
3) Karis was able to go for a two-month stay at Remuda Ranch Treatment Center at a huge discount.
4) We have found both a Christian Counselor and Registered Dietician which specialize in eating disorders and have agreed to help Karis at a discount.
5) Shane’s aunt gave him her “old” car since she was upgrading.
6) God has been extremely faithful as our family has been learning to “dance in the rain” – together. Read the story >>
Prayer Requests:
1) Continued strength, wisdom, patience and stess-management for Rand as he leads the CLAware project. It’s extremely hard when you know that missionaries around the world are being held up in their work because you can’t find the glitch in the software that you wrote to help them and which they now have come to depend upon. Read the story >> 2) Wisdom, creativity, and focus for Debbie as she juggles both writing and family.
3) Wisdom as we continue to help, love and encourage Karis on her road to recovery.
4) Wisdom to not let Tyler and Jenna feel left out as we help Karis.
5) Wisdom, discipline and creativity for Shane as he leads his group of boys as an R.A. and prepares for future ministry.
6) Wisdom for Ryan as he tries to finish his education and increase their income at the same time. It’s a good thing that we serve a God of miracles!
