Before joining NTM, Leroy owned and operated a credit bureau; then for ten years he worked with the Safeco Insurance Company. Leroy and Mary Lou joined NTM and served in Colombia for six years, representing NTM of Colombia before the Colombian government. The Peters married in 1958 and have three married children and eight grandchildren. They currently serve as Midwest regional representatives for NTM. They focus on older teens and adults while ministering in missions and Bible conferences. The Peters also travel extensively in Latin America, presenting missions and participating in conferences.
